Cosplay Photo Competition

1. Number of pictures and participation:
Each photographer can submit up to 5 unique pictures.

2. Costume
– All photos need to be PG13
– Bought, selfmade or commissioned cosplays are all welcome
– Official characters, original interpretations of official characters (such as steampunk versions, AUs, casual versions, historically accurate etc),OCs and book characters are all welcome.

3. Age limit
– Cosplayer and photographer must both be at least 13 y.o in order to participate in the contest.

4. Submitting the application
– The submitting photographer must have the cosplayers consent.
– For submissions featuring two or more cosplayers, all cosplayers in the photo must be credited.
– When submitting their application, adding reference photos is optional, but encouraged. This includes reference photos of official characters, but may also include other materials used as reference or inspiration or technical materials such as light setup and so on.

5. Judging
– The judging of the competition will be done by an independent judge outside Magicon. They will choose 10 finalists, where maximum 2 photos per photographer can be chosen. There’s 2 winners, one audience choice and one judges favourite. The winners will be announced during Magicon Unchained closing ceremony on Sunday June 22!
Photos submitted will be displayed at Magicon!

Applications will open on March 1st.
