Step into the spotlight, catwalk lovers — Magicon Unchained is getting closer, and soon it’s your time to shine! The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here!
At Magicon Unchained there will be both a casual catwalk on Saturday and a Catwalk Competition on Sunday! This year both will be held at the Main Stage.
So what is the difference between the two, you may ask?

The Cosplay Catwalk
A Cosplay Catwalk always brings so much creativity and fun to a convention!
The Cosplay Catwalk, is just as the name sounds, a classic catwalk where you get to show off your costume and character on stage in front of an audience – for fun. This catwalk will not be judged, so the pressure is off and the spotlight is yours to enjoy!

When:
The Cosplay Catwalk will be held on Saturday at the Main Stage!
Info on when and where to meet will be included in the application form.
How to sign up:
You can sign up for the Cosplay Catwalk at the Info-stand when you enter the convention on Saturday. There will be 30 spots in this competition.
How the catwalk works:
You will have 30 seconds on stage to show off your character and costume. If you are a group, you still only have 30 seconds per act. Remember to use the stage well, the audience wants to see you! Music for the catwalk will be provided by Magicon Unchained. And remember, all performances must stay PG-13!
Participation:
Whether you’re flying solo or teaming up with friends, the Cosplay Catwalk is open to groups of 1 to 6 participants.

There will be 30 spots in this competition.
How does the catwalk work:
You will have 30 seconds on stage to show off your character and costume. If you are a group, you still only have 30 seconds per act. Remember to use the stage well, the audience and judges want to see you! Music for the catwalk will be provided by Magicon Evolution. And remember, all performances must stay PG-13!
Participation:
Whether you’re flying solo or teaming up with friends, the Catwalk Competition is open to groups of 1 to 6 participants.
Judges and prizes:
There will be judges at the Catwalk Competition. A winner and a runner up will be chosen and receive prizes. Keep in mind that the prizes are designed for a single participant, so if you win with a group, you have to share the prize.
Judging Criteria:
The judges will evaluate the participants based on the following criteria:
- Stage presence
- Connection with the audience
- Utilization of the stage
- Ability to show off your character
Make every second count, but don’t forget to enjoy the moment! We would love to see you there!
