Where do I buy tickets?
How much does a Magicon tickets cost?
Weekend Pass: 675 NOK
One-day tickets will be available in May if the weekend passes are not sold out. Pricing to be announced.
Can you buy tickets at the door?
Yes, if tickets don’t sell out before the event, you can buy them at the door.
Is there an age limit?
There’s no age limit, however children under the age of 14 need to bring a guardian.
Can I bring my baby with me to the con? Do they need a ticket?
Yes. People of all ages are welcome at Magicon, so you’re welcome to bring your baby.
If your child is small enough to sit on your lap and does not take up a seat, they can attend for free.
Will the convention be accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, the venue is accessible for wheelchair users!
Seating: Wheelchair spaces are in row 20 and 21 (row 21 for larger electric wheelchairs).
Please use HC toilets for sanitary purposes only; they are not for changing into cosplay or doing makeup.

How easy is it to get food and beverages at the convention?
There are 15+ restaurants and cafés within a 10-minute walk from the convention, offering a variety of food types and price ranges.
There are also grocery stores nearby, with the closest one just a 4-minute walk away – and it’s open on Sundays too!

Is idol MagicOn Stage! the same as Cosplay Performance?
The main difference between the two is that Cosplay Performance is an competition and the Idol MagicOn Stage! is not. The Idol MagicOn Stage! event are to mimic shows in the j-pop/anime Idol style, and is a little more specific than just any performance.
Are there any rules for the length of a performance?
Yes, you can find the information regarding the length of the performance in the rule section of the cosplay competition pages.
Are there any rules for "scary" cosplays at magicon?
We would advice to keep it pg13, but if you are unsure you could always send a picture of what you want to make to [email protected]
Can I join more than one Cosplay Competition?
Yes you may, however keep in mind that some competitions may happen at the same time in different areas at the convention on the same day. Check out each competitions’ individual page to read more about which day they’ll be hosted on. Schedule will be available at a later time.
I want to walk the catwalk with my friends, can I sign up for all of us or do we have to sign up individually?
Yes you can sign up your entire group for the Cosplay Catwalk, just make sure to include everyone’s names and characters in the apropriate fields.
Can I still apply for Artstands?
You can still join our waiting list here!

Can I still join any of the cosplay competitions?
Most cosplay competitions are full, but you can join the waiting list! Just visit the competition’s page and click the link to the Google form.
